Hello OCT brides!

 

Not for sure if this will post right but I wanted to let everyone know that has weddings planned here that it will be an amazing experience! I got married at OCT Dec 2011...so relaxing and wonderful! Ana will take great care of you and everything will come together fine! She is very good at what she does! She is very busy with lots of weddings so don't be concerned with emails that she does not respond to right away..she will address everything but it may take sometime. Use this thread to get answers as well. Try not to stress too much..enjoy it! This is the only way to have a wedding!

That is a really good idea and sounds like a ton of fun!

 

I am having a very small bridal shower (against my will!) with only the people invited to my DW.  My fiance and I already made a major purchase of buying a home.  We really do have everything we need for our house so the shower is kind of silly.  However, moms will be moms, I guess! 

 

We are playing with the idea of having a picnic when we return or a small dinner for those who could not make it.

Two things!

First of all, I can OFFICIALLY start planning now and participating because I GOT ENGAGED yesterday :) :) ;)  OT&C is the top of our list so I can really go for it now!

 

Second of all, my FAVE local photographer (whom I am planning to bring with me from Alberta) just posted a wedding from the OT&C.  It just looks incredible!

My photographer is Photos in Cancun ( Derek and Lorena). They are amazing ( I had my engagement photos taken with them and I absolutely love them: so easy to work with, made me and my fiancee very confortable and pictures are gorgeous). They also have decent prices. I am doing both day of and TTD pictures :)

I need some advice of a Civil Ceremony/ Symbolic.  

The CC requires your blood work be done in MX, arrive 3-4 days before and have 4 witnesses. 

* Has anyone had one of these?  Can you explain exactly how it works?  How do I get a marriage cert. back in the US? 

 

If I choose a symbolic ceremony, how does this work?  Would I have to be "married" in the US first?

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
