Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

Lisa - Thank you so much!  That is so appreciated.  I can send them back to you if needed after the wedding.  We are only having around 18 people join us, so we wont need that many.

Oh I am beginning to get excited, its getting so close.  I am 55 days away from getting married, and 47 days away from heading to Mexico!

Sandi,

Three dollars a person doesn't not sound too bad of a price, though i have read about the debate about whether the privacy is better in the indoor reception. Definitily a tough choice. When is your wedding date set for? If you could forward a list of packages that would be amazing! kristenwiebe@hotmail.com

I find its so hard to make these decisions without having been there before to really picture it.

thanks Kristen

Hey Ladies!

I am 8 days away from departure! I can't believe it's next weekend already! I booked my package through airtransat, and they have been nothing short of amazing! They upgraded me and my Fiance to first class there and back so we can have the extra luggage as well as a little pampering from the moment we arrive at the airport! Ana's been really  great too. I've had a few mix ups with her, but mostly due to the language barrier! She's been super ccatering and doing as much as she can to help us. Remember... all prices are negotiable! Everyone I've spoken to who's been married down in cancun area strongly recommends hiring a photographer from outside... My package included 24 photo's... and even thpugh i hired outside, i said it wasn't fair that i was technically paying for these photos and not getting them... so ana arranged that the resort photographer would come and cover our reception. which is perfect as we hadn't planned to have a photographer there anyways! Also, I'm not getting my makeup done by them, so I am able to get a facial instead! Don't be afraid to ask, and don't be afraid to negotiate on prices. Let her know you are on a budget and she'll work as hard as she can to make everything you want come in that budget!!

No problem at all Aubrey, I bought 55 bows not knowing my final number so I have more then enough to share with you! I may bring some back with me for our reception at home but will be sure to leave more than enough for you and your guests :)

Does anyone know the order of the ceremony?  My fiance and I are trying to work on vows & the sand ceremony but are unsure how it fits into the ceremony... when do the "I do's" fit in?  Any advise would be fantastic!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
