Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

The fee she will give you is $400 USD.... but you can negotiate with her.... the lowest i've heard her give is $200 USD so i quoted her that, and she agreed to that price for me too! Our photographer will be coming from 2pm-6pm, so it's not over any meals.... if you plan on feeding him/her, you have to buy your photographer and their assistant a day pass... which i believe is around the 80 USD mark each. My brother got married down in the mayan aswell, and after seeing there pictures (a hired professional from outside the resort) compared to the hotel photographer, as well as previoius brides head aches with the hotel photographer... there is no way the extra 200 USD is not worth it....

Ana called me at work on friday morning, and we confirmed every detail... she was wonderful on the phone, and i feel like all the worry and stress is gone.... now i can enjoy shopping for my last few things and meet her the day before the wedding to finalize things!!!!

4 weeks from today i'll be departing!!!! :)

Hey Jacquelyn!

thats awesome!!! you must be counting the minutes, I know I will be! 46 people, that's great. What a surreal and amazing experience it will be to have everyone together for a whole week! or two! I can't wait. where are you from? I am originally from Calgary but my fiance is Norwegian so I live in Norway now. But I have not forgotten the wonderful Canadian winters!!! lol -33 is pretty nasty. thinking about Mexico probably helps!!

Thats funny, I grew up in Bonnyville AB so I am well aware! I guess it's a 4 hour drive from Slave lake but pretty much as far north. I miss home, just not the snow :) I tried to find you on facebook, I found one Jacquelyn Penner but she had blonds hair, maybe that was you? I am pretty easy to find, Lise Weinberger.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
