haha that's the one touch i let FI have on the tree...it's a NY Giants penquin ornament that didn't really go with the rest of the tree so I let him put it at the top as our "star" since we didn't have one. He was happy!! haha

but the easiest way is to host your pic on photobucket or a like website and copy the img code and paste it into your post. make sure to upload your pics in the "message board" size so they arent too big. pm me if you need more help.

Well I thought about going the ba-humbug approach this year. DH was majorly hungover last weekend (ugh- bad story) and I wanted to get a tree. He wouldn't get off his butt to take me to get one. This weekend he is out of town. Poop on him.

Anyways, I really want to do a tree now and share it. I always decorate by myself and this year I just didn't know if I could do it alone. But now that I have you girls to share in my hard work, maybe I will after all.

Thankfully trees are very cheap in Oregon. I think I read somewhere that a huge % of trees actually come from where I live. There are Christmas tree farms EVERYWHERE. Anyways, beautiful decorations thus far. Love your eclectic tree Abbie- it has character. wink.gif

Jess- your MIL needs help. LOL Seriously, a Hello Kitty vibrator- that is sick on so many levels. Love your fav ornaments and the wreath-very cute.

Desiree- your tree is beauitful! I don't think I've seen one shaped like that before.

Jacilyn- I too love your stockings. Cute cute.

Geralyn- love the mini tree! It's adorable.

I FINALLY finished my tree (after searching high and low for some censored.gif lights! lol) and not only did I get it all decorated, I finally cat-proofed the damn thing! smile159.gif I just had to buy some "indoor cat repellent" and it works wonders, the cats completely ignore the tree as if it didn't exist! Yay!

Okay, so now I got that excitement out of my system, I'll share some pics cheesy.gif

Ignore the blankets over the couch, I have a cat that likes to leave "hairball" presents everywhere, therefore the entire house is hairball proof lol

Stockings :) The one on the end is mine, my mom made it for me a few years ago, and the Winnie the Pooh one she gave me the year before that, and I just kept it. And the pants are for FI lol

My (snowless) village. Kinda pathetic, but it's the first year I tried to put one together, so not a terrible attempt (although you can't see half of the houses in this pic, I bought some igloo houses with penguins! cheesy.gif

And, FI's favorite one. This is a plaque that says "Motorhead, England" on it and the "thing" popping out of the middle is "Snaggletooth", Motorhead's mascot. I couldn't wrap the picture properly because the horns on his head kept poking through (it's 3D) so I just made him burst out of it instead :P

Not too many decorations, we have a small apartment, but it feels pretty cozy :) I'm pretty proud of my Christmas decorating so far! Now if only I can get the smell of stale water (cat repellent) out of the living room... lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
