thanks yari :)

i have to say, if it were totally up to me, we would have a noble (not douglas fir), all decked out like a magazine with matchy-matchy ornaments and WHITE LIGHTS ONLY! but doug and the kids are eclectic, so we have colored AND white lights, all different ornaments, super mis-matchedy. but it ends up looking nice and cozy, even if its not how i want it haha :)

I love your tree! It looks huge. I hope I can make time this weekend to get mine up. It's pretty small, especially in our new house. I can't bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on a full price big tree, so I'll be shopping on Christmas Eve trying to find a discounted one! LOL

I like to have my "decorator tree" where everything is matchy matchy. I haven't had a "family tree" since I was about 12.

Mom is not big on decorating and we used to buy a tree from a local charity festival every year.

I love this!

We aren't doing alot of decorating this year, cause we're moving into our new house the week after Christmas and we don't want to have that much more to take down and pack up.

Here is our tree:

And our stockings, I wish he had a mantle for them cause the long edge is 27.5" and the foot is 11" its hard to find somewhere to hang them!

Erin I totally know what you mean about a new tree. This is our first Christmas at our house and we have 10 feet ceilings in our living room here. So, our six foot tree looks tiny! We are going to try to find a deal after Christmas on one somewhere. We just don't have the extra money either right now. I will post a picture of our cute lil mini tree soon!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
