RMB Brides: Tours & Excursions

Recommended Posts

Who is everyone using to book their excursions through? I've sent an e-mail to Chantelle as well as the general RMB contact, but nobody can seem to give me a straight answer for the contact information for the tours rep. that's supposedly going to be in the lobby.

Our travel agent has a partnership with JTL - Jamaica Tours Limited and recommends for us to use them, but their prices seem to be higher than any other sites that I've seen.

Any thoughts?

We decided to let our guests know that tours can be booked when the arrive at the hotel since we decided not to "force" the issue. We sort of left it all up to them so as not to make it appear as if we are controlling their trip. I would just try to get a decent idea of tours based on info you have compiled from Trip Advisor, or the posts here on the board--(I would not limit it to just MB ) and go from there. Didn't answer your questions directly but hope this helped even a little bit.

I too had asked Keneika and she too (prior to her leaving) did not answer directly but steered me to the front desk. I know there were a few replies to threads from wedding reviews of some of the better vendors, but I can't find them right now.

That's a good idea of just letting your guests pretty much do what they want. I'm trying to stick along those same lines, but I'd really like to do one big group tour that my FI and pay for. I'm also planning on setting up an optional tour for everyone as well. Thanks for your response!

If you are looking to arrange a group tour you could always contact Lee's tours. I know many of us Jamaica brides used them for transportation & group tours. Maybe their prices are less than the other vendor that you have.

If you do a search here, you'll probably find some reviews of Lee's.

You can send them an email for pricing & you should hear from Norma rather quickly. Here's their website: Welcome to Lees Taxi and Tours Jamaica by Lees Elite Travel & Tours Ltd., Taxi and Tours in Jamaica, Jamaica Taxi and Tours - www.leestaxiandtoursjamaica.com - info@leestaxiandtoursjamaica.com

My TA got me a list of all the excursions offered that leave from RMB and which days they're offered. There are no prices on the form but it has excursions in MoBay as well as some 1/2 day excursions and some full day excursions that take you lots of different places in Jamaica. If you want me to send it to you just pm me with your email address.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
