Just a heads up since you are getting married at ROR. Michael is now doing TTD Sessions. There was a bride here that had Michael do some photos at Dunn's River and when I spoke to him when I was there 2 weeks ago he said he was looking into doing more TTD sessions.

Just an FYI ;-)

Ya I e-mailed him almost 3 weeks ago to ask about it and have not heard back from him, so I am just looking at some other options, we are staying a secomd week in Negril, so that is when we were hoping to do it then the first week we can spend more time with our family and friends, and not have everything rushed.

Any thing you know could help.

We are thinking about getting TTD pictures done with her after the wedding.
Won't be able to tell you about my experience or the pics until after my wedding in mid-Jan. You only want TTD pics but not for the actual wedding, right? Can't imagine that would cost very much... but I'm not doing TTDs so I really can't say. Just depends on how long that photo session would take, I guess...it's all about the time. But it's a trek from Negril to Ochi so travel expenses would be incurred in bringing someone in from that far and it has to be worth it for you, which also will probably depend on how long it takes to shoot those pics. How come you aren't just using the photog that's shooting your wedding? As a package, wouldn't it be cheaper to use the same person? Who's shooting your wedding?

Well you will have to let me know how things go after the wedding if you are not to busy.

Yes, we are just doing TTD pictures with her; we are getting actual wedding pictures done with the Photoshop at ROR.

We are staying two weeks, the second week we are staying Negril.

I thought about doing TTD pictures with the Photoshop at ROR, but the price she quoted us is much better than what ROR quoted. However, I will know more about the prices when we get the contract in the mail.

In addition, doing it the second week we can spend more time with our family and friends, and it wont feel as rushed, as it would the first week.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
