PV Photogs - Michelle Turner v Beth Lloyd

We're trying to decide on a photographer and it's either Michelle Turner or Beth Lloyd. We're getting married at Playa Fiesta next November. Both have gorgeous website portfolios, although it seems Beth Lloyd has more that are specific to PV weddings. Has anyone worked with either of them? Do you have any pros or cons? Do they have assistants? How long did it take to get your photos after?

 

And if you haven't worked with them, how did you choose your photographer?

I'm not familiar with Michell Turner, but I've booked Elizabeth Lloyd for our wedding in March at Las Caletas, PV. She has an assistant that spends time with the guys before the wedding while she is working with you. So far, she has been great at corresponding with me! I'm not sure how long it actually takes to get your pictures, but I can definitley ask her. Hope that helps!

We're using Michelle - I just fell in love with her pictures....have you looked through her blog? She's done a TON of weddings at Playa Fiesta and lots of "true romance" (TTD type) shoots in PV.....anyway, we just decided by looking through the portfolios and picking a photographer whose style spoke to us....pictures are super important to us so we knew this would be a major budget item....good luck!!!

Thanks for the input! I thought they both had great pictures on their websites. We decided to go with Michelle Turner in the end. I know she does all the shooting herself, rather than with and assistant like Beth does (probably the only downside), but I really love the pictures she shot of Playa Fiesta. And more importantly, they were the same price, but she provides an album credit - a plus given the current state of the economy! Very excited!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
