Celina... that's totally F'ed up! People can be so inconsiderate sometimes, but it makes it even worse that it was family! I'm so so sorry this happened. At least you could freeze some and give some away and it didn't all totally go to waste. I hope the party was a hit though for your true friends that RSVP'ed and actually showed up! At least you are married now. That's so exciting!

I am so sorry that this happened, some people are just so rude. When my FSIL had her wedding the same thing happened because it was originally an engagement party but a couple weeks before they decided to surprise everyone with it being her wedding. The hall was only half full and so much extra food.

I would say something to them!

That totally sucks, and shame on all of them for failing to come through and being so disrespectful to all your preparation. There is truly no excuse for that many people to have not shown up knowing what it takes to put together something for so many people! But regardless, don't let their lack of manners ruin the fact that you had a spectacular wedding and that you're now happily married cheesy.gif And I totally agree, they should all be put on your shit list!!!

That is 100% unacceptable!! I am so sorry that this happened to you. I would phone every single one of them and ask why they were unable to attend and explain the situation. That's absolute bull shit if you ask me!! When are people going to realize that your wedding is about YOU an not them and if they can't understand that they they should have RSVP'd no. Really...when it is someone's wedding day you put yourself aside...for one freakiin day of your life...jerks...now I am mad!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
