    Hey Riviera Maya/Cancun ladies:

I'm starting to get nervous that we are going to be hot for our wedding. My FH had two request, one - to get married on the beach, two - to not be hot. I know it's hard to get one without the other but I'm starting to get nervous that we're going to be hot with the humidity in June. We're both from AZ and used to heat, but not humidity.

Do any June brides have suggestions or thoughts on being hot? Our ceremony is at 5:30, hoping it will cool off a bit.

Wedding date is now set in stone, so no way to move it but just looking for some advice on how to keep it as cool as possible.

I was looking in to the same issue and everyone has said it cools off around 4 when the sun starts going down... hopefully they are right.

I've been to Mexico in June, and while it was hot, i did not find it unbearable. I am also planning a June wedding =)

honestly it's hot in June but usually its cooler on the beach at that time cause there's a little bit of a breeze. i'm sure it will be fine.

I think it will be fine with the beach breeze. You could always bring raffia hand fans to cool your guests and FH off. I am getting married in August and I heard it's super hot in Mexico then, so I am bringing the fans along and I am going to ask for a table with pina coladas and strawberry daquiris for my guests to grab as soon as the ceremony ends.

I moved my wedding from Sept to Dec because I was worried about heat. I think, though, if you have your wedding at sundown you will avoid the hottest part of the day which will help.

I am getting married on June 26, 2009 at 4:30pm and I am pretty sure that if you get married on the beach the breeze of the water will cool everyone down. I am not worried at all. If you notice in a lot of the pictures of brides and grooms getting married on the beach...their hair is CRAZY blowing. I think you are safe! What date did you pick?

                    Thanks girls for your help.

We are going to get married by the beach, so hopefully the breeze will help. I do plan on doing fans so that should help too.

We ended up choosing June 5, 2009!

Oh, and we're getting married at 5:30...so hopefully the sun will be on it's way down.
