Yay girls!!! The Shred is really great. I have it and the first time I did it I just wanted to quit in the middle cause its pretty intense. Although Jillian claims that if you do it and do it right you can lose up to 20lbs in 30 days. Which if you did this for 30 days right, you're guaranteed to see results!!!! On demand only shows Level 1, which is the first part. Once you get used to level 1 and you're not feeling the burn, you need to move to level 2 for this to even work. its only $9 at walmart, and I have it. If some of you want it burned I could do something like that. I think one of the girls brought up a dvd exchange the other day.

Hey Ladies

Sapphire I told my FL what you said, then we looked Ballys up on Eopinions omg... There were soo many complaints about contracts and issues with $$. My FI is spending the day looking at different gyms for us (I'm at work). He's looking a planet fitness for himself annd for me too if they offer personal training but their website doesnt really say. And then he's going to go over to Ballys to sit down and look at the contract. There's this exclusive gym here that I want to go to but we really can't afford it so we'll see what happens. At any rate I'll be starting at some gym Tuesday....

Ann- You are so right...you are way too busy for this to be a full time job! If people don't follow the rules, then they shouldn't participate!

Okay, so I suck. I have so much to lose and earlier this week I was so ready to lose it....then I just kinda was "bleh" about it. I gained 26 pounds while pregnant with my son (I had to drop out of BL2 because I got pregnant!) and I already had weight to lose before this...I NEED to do! I have to get healthy for the sake of my son!

But, I did go walking with Noah twice this week...which isn't much, but the weather was too cool to take Noah out the other days.

I am sure my weight will be up on Wed. blah!

Don't write it off ... I swear that's how I lost most of my weight was walking with Gwen. I loved walking around the lake with her (~4 miles), and she loved being in her stroller and either sleeping or looking up at the sky/trees. She loves outside! Now that it's so cold, I miss it - and think I've put a few pounds back on. So don't discount walking!

I like planet fitness. I believe you can get a personal trainer with them, but I'm not 100% sure. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have classes. But they're really cheap and some of them have a 30 minute circuit training.

Today was horrible....no exercise (that was planned) but my monthly came and I felt like poo all day. Regardless, I finished my class work, and we headed in to town...I trotted all over the fairgrounds (there was an RV show there today) in pain, then we went to the mall. Found a pair of running shoes on clearance so that made me feel a little better.

Food wise...I didn't eat well at all. I don't know how you ladies feel about eating that first day but it isn't on my agenda. We did go o Ruby Tuesday's for early dinner just had soup and salad bar, so I behaved there :)

Ashley - Planet Fitness is awesome! Like LeAnne said though, the only downfall is that they don't offer classes. I would def check them out though!

I have to agree w/ Ann, don't count out walking!!! I've gained weight, since its so cold. We're one of those that got to -40 degrees. So I can't walk Caterina as much. Are you nursing? I will tell you what, when I was nursing, I would take Caterina out for a walk around 2 miles 3 times a day and I was losing 3-5lbs a week! Now that I'm no longer nursing it's harder to lose weight. keep walking you will definitely see a change!

but really, those walks helped me a ton i think. now i just need to find a better place indoors.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
