I def plan you do better by season 6 (or 7 haha). To be honest I'm really not doing anything to lose weight beside drinking a lil bit more water and eating better. But I plan to do better next time. But if we have a season 7 that should fall right in line with the 3 months before my wedding and I'll be trying to lose weight by all means necessary. I'm going to go pick up my gown next weekend so maybe that'll push me to drop some of these pounds.

Ladies, I've officially fallen off the wagon. sad.gif I'm not going to quit the contest, but I am so not losing any weight before its over. I'm going away on Thursday and won't be back until right before the weigh in Wednesday and I'm not going to pretend I'm going to eat well on vacation.popcorn.gif So, I'm going to mentally gear up for season 6 and not be too disappointed with my results this time around.

kelly, i have actually LOST weight on vacation before, despite eating with wild reckless abandon, lol. depends on the kind of trip you take ... sometimes there is so much heightened activity (usually tons of walking, and more time for burning calories in the bedroom hehe) that you might be pleasantly surprised! and if you end up not losing, or even gaining, you'll just have more of a reason to push yourself in season 6. definitely stick around tho ... i find it helpful to have to stay accountable to someone.

most importantly, have a great vacation! and definitely don't deprive yourself. in this economy, vacations are difficult to find room in your budget for. when you're able to squeeze one in, you have to enjoy it to the fullest!

Thanks Lisa, I'm very excitd to get away, but I plan on laying down the whole time! lol It better be sunny. The forecast isn't looking great so I'll be wishing for sun until I leave. I was doing so well for a little while as far as my eating goes and then one bad day turned into 2, which turned into 3, etc etc. I don't know what happened to my motivation. It just left. I'm actually a little annoyed at myself for letting it happen this way, but if I get down on myself I'll just eat more. So, I'm just going to let it go and not put any more pressure on myself. I did call a friend who works at a gym to have her recommend a trainer for me to start with when season 6 starts.

I'm debating about not sending mine in, HA! I'm SOOOOO bummed. I worked out hard the beginning of the week, maybe too hard. I was doing really well, and then I got sick. VERY sick. I had a temp 102 for days and the shivers in an 80 degree room w/ a heated blanket. I've never been so sick. I thought it might end up helping cause I couldn't eat anything. WRONG!!! I weighed myself the morning I felt better and was up 1lb. Then my period started yesterday and now I'm up 4+ lbs. It's very discouraging.

i guess if I send in the pic and then work my a$$ off I should have a good drop next week! HA! I'll send it in, I've never missed, why now. It's finally getting warm, so I'm always out hiking and walking w/ Cattie and then Joe took 2 weeks off to spend w/ us, well he started the vacation cause I was soooo sick and my body hurt so bad i couldn't even pick up Caterina. But since he has 2 weeks off and its getting warm him and I will be playing tennis almost every night!!! I'm sooo excited!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
