Vendor/business Membership Fees & Rules

As Alyssa stated, this is correct. This forum is just getting so big, which is great in so many ways, but it's making it harder for Tammy and the moderators to manage on a daily basis. We know we will lose some great vendors, but this is a step that we need to take to be able to keep the forum running.

Okay, so I did get it right, I'm clear on compulsory pay for ALL vendors, that's clear now.

 

What's still not quite clear is if plain "vendors" need to pay $150, then how much does a "platinum" vendor have to pay?, I seem to get lost on the fine print...lol.

Hi Martin,

Please see the rules for platinum vendors copied from above, note the request to send an email about rates and availability.
Platinum vendor:

• must pay for button ad (email ads@bestdestinationwedding.com for rates and available spots)
• get added to the "BDW Platinum Vendor Directory"
• are allowed to put their website & blog links, 1 pic, & info in their siggy
• get to run 3 promos/ads in vendor marketplace a year (must be approved by admin)

martin, they are correct...we only have a limited amount of space for platinum members but we think that this will really cut down on the waiting list we had for promotions.

Ok, thank you, I'll send an e-mail to the e-mail you say. Sooo many new things I'm sure this will help other vendors, cause some of us are a little freaked out about all these changes. Well, hope it works well for us all!

Quick question. Sol & I are both members and will be purchasing a membership. Since we are 2 individuals representing only 1 vendor, how does this work for us? Will we be required to register as 2 vendors?

 

Should I upgrade within my CP and her do the same? My thought is it may require 2 payments and your upgrade verbiage suggests that each "vendor" must upgrade... Any thoughts that might help?

I would think that since you both have different vendor accounts, you would need to pay accordingly.

We can completely respect that, however the verbiage suggested each vendor had upgrade. Its easy enough to confuse vendor = individual business.

Either way, we are happy to be members, back in the old days when it was free and in the new days when it costs We think its a great decision for BDWF and everyone involved here.

Matt - i agree that for you two this could be confusing - i am with TammyB that i think if you want 2 seperate vendor accounts then you would pay for each BUT if you and Sol want to use 1 acct then you could share it.
let's wait to hear Tammy Host's final say on this one!

We think membership here is a pretty valuable resource and thank mods for not booting us out so far up to this point .... I think Tammy could get $500 per year per vendor, for sure! We love U guys!

BDWF is an amazing resource. The work done by moderators and founder and the Wright Travel agency is priceless for vendors here!
