Grand Riviera Princess & Grand Sunset Princess

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies! Thanks for posting all of this info...we have found it very helpful with our planning. Just one question...what is the name of the person you contact at the resort to make your wedding plans and what is the e-mail you use? I have tried several e-mail addresses that are on the resort website, but NEVER get a response. I appreciate the help!!! Thanks!!

Hello Ladies,

I am planning a small party (10-15 guests) wedding in this resort. I already got lots of great info on this webside. I have not booked the date yet (Jan.2011), waiting for the prices to be available for 2011. Which wedding package should I go for? Does it get cool on the beach at night in January?

Thanks

Margret

Hello all!

My fiancee have just confirmed that we're getting married at the Grand Riviera Princess - we'll be there from Nov.28 to Dec.5 and our wedding date will be the third. So excited!

I need some advice - we're looking at the dinner options after the wedding and I'm interested to hear from brides who have gotten married there what the best restaurant would be to have our dinner - and if anyone has information about what the reception options are - i'm not sure what to choose!

Thanks in advance!!!!

We are getting married on June 25, 2010 at the Grand Sunset princess hotel. We have about 88 guests attending. We decided to do the Private Beach Wedding reception we are not doing the civil ceremony only the Catholic Church on 5th avenue (Nuestra Senora Del Carmen) our wedding coordinator is Sandra Chavira, I have to say that she has made my planning with the hotel very easy. Have no complains about her. She is prompt to answer my emails. We booked Winnie Vallejo for our photographer!!! Love her profile her pictures and video and I like the fact that she gets back to you right away. I’m looking forward to meeting her. I would recommend her to anyone! Winnie Vallejo Just keep in mind that if you are using someone outside of the hotel as of now the fee for them is $70 to enter the resort… If you have any questions please feel free to email me sonia_magana@sbcglobal.net

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
