dh has a humidor made of carbon fiber instead of wood and apparently that is better at keeping humidity levels.

They have smaller ones that he'll get for me sometimes. So thoughtful! I thought about getting him a really nice humidor for christmas, but I have no freaking idea what kind to get. I wonder if that's something that he would really need to pick out himself, KWIM?

I'm really not sure if they are cubans or dominicans. I do know that he can only find them at 2 cigar shops in NYC. He left today for a bachelor party in Cancun, but I'll be sure to ask him when he gets back. Whatever they are, he LOVES them!!!

So now I have no ideas.
Derek does that to me all the time. I hate that. this year i told him i wasnt exchaning gifts with him and when he asked why, i said cause you cant wait till xmas to buy yourself stuff you end up going out to get it in December usually after i already got it, so then i have to tell you what a i got, what's the point i'd rather just give him the money so he can get it for himself. Well he wanted to do xmas exchange so he promised not to buy anything. It's pretty funny last week he called for permission to get thermals for work. I started laughing.

For gifts this year we werent going to get anything big just small stuff and a stocking, but now since we won fantasy football we got a little extra to spend for xmas. The only thing i know i'm definately going to get him is a Braun electric razor. he really wants it. i think it's $250 at BBB and i can use my 20% coupon so it works out good.

OMG I've been researching cigars for DAYS!!! I'm trying to find cigars that FI will love and hasn't had that have GREAT ratings. He has books w/ directories of cigars. Suggest these to try:

Ashton Virgin Sun Grown Torpedo- Dominican- #5 cigar of 2007 (done Jan. of each yr)

Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles-Nicaraguan-#15 of '07. Quoted as be that powerful Corona you need to make the day right. Only $5.50 each

The Edge Sumatra Toro- Honduran-#24 of '07 only $5.25

These 5 are considered to of the strongest cigars:

La Flor Domincana Double Ligero Chisel
Camach Triple Maduro
San Christobal by Ashton
EO 601 Blue Label Maduro
Oliva Series V Torpedo

I am going to get the screen on his iPod fixed! Our overactive dog chewed it and I knew he won't buy a new once since it's still works except for the screen, but he's also the type of guy that won't research out how to get something like that done. I'm trying to figure out something else small too but I haven't found something I like yet.

On the man cave, my FI will never really have one since I will soooo be in there. We usually watch sports together and have a 50in TV in the living room. Plus I can kick his butt in pool and Foosball so I don't know what he'd do different in there...LOL.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
