We used Lori from SweetFire photography. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED her! Here's a link to her site. http://www.sweetfirephotography.com/ Our wedding at EPM is one of her featured albums, so it can give you some ideas of areas for shots. Just keep in mind that there is a $500 outside vendor fee for a photographer.
I booked Lori your wedding helped me make final decision! Thank you!!!! You got married in gazebo?? How was it I can't decide over beach or gazebo

We just had our wedding at EPM and my wife keeps impeccable records.  Feel free to contact me at anytime with any questions.  (914) 355-1832    Don't feel like it's a bother, you will need to iron out some details with Nayeli.  Needless to say they are less than attentive when it comes to replies.  If it would ease your mind at all, we have stayed there 4 times and would be happy to help you.  I'm retired Military and have some free time.  Best wishes Brian and Dana.

My wife and I just got back from our wedding at EPM.  It was our fourth stay there so needless to say we know most, if not ALL of the ins and outs.  Feel free to call anytime.  We had a great time but there are some things you should know!!!   Best wishes, Brian and Dana  (914) 355 1832    calling is best as a groom, I probably won't check this site again but my wife keeps impeccable records and basically planned the whole thing for them.  Final bill $11,000 for 33 guests (gold wedding package and package 6 for the photography) and BTW the room for the groom is free the night before "based on availability"  I didn't get one.  They were at over 100% occupancy and tried to turn a few of our guests away to the hotel next door.  Like I said, I would be happy to help.  FYI the GM is AMAZING, the wedding planners Jenny and Nayeli, not so much...... give me a call if you want any info and congrats!!!!

Yay! You will be so happy with Lori and her assistant Tanya...they absolutely MADE our wedding day and were so sweet....our guests loved them too! I decided on the gazebo due to my father having difficulty walking. However, the gazebo was a perfect size for our group of guests (35 guests) and allowed them to be shaded while waiting for the ceremony to begin. Also, everyone was able to wear heels without any issues (I did kick off my heels during the photographs though). We had a 5pm ceremony on May 5th and even at that time, it was still sunny and 80 degrees F. I don't think that you can go wrong with either the beach or the gazebo, both are equally beautiful! I would just consider time of day of the wedding and how hot the avg. temp is that time of year and what type of photos/footwear you would like. Good luck with your planning and if you have any questions I'm happy to help!

How many people are in your group? I have heard of them putting tables together for a semi-private dinner in one of the restaurants. We have 53 people in our group so we are paying for the private dinner for the reception. But we didn't want to pay for an additional private dinner, so she's putting tables together for 30 of us for the Rehearsal Dinner (which we won't have to pay extra for).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
