I'm just dying to get my professional photos, but here are two of the only photos we have so far of our reception. These photos don't really give the whole feel of the space, but they are all we have so far. I really liked the area because it was private, yet close to everything. And there are fountains around the whole area with beautiful bright pink flowers. The shade is down in the first photo because it was raining and they wanted to protect our table. After the rain they lifted the shade.

Toscana Terrace (actually the whole terrace for Toscana, Basanti (Indian) and some other restaurant that I can't remember the name of.

Good morning ladies! Congratulations to any brides getting married today. I hope your day is perfect! Is anyone purchasing the Silver package? How much is the dinner for each person over the 20 that are included in the package?

We are doing the Silver package and upgrading a few items and decoration like chairs and table runners. We are definately bringing our own votive candles! They charge $3 per candle where as I bought a box of 12 at Michaels for $4.00. Also, we really want a decorated gazebo on the beach but from what I can tell the basic one is $400. What did are you guys thinking for the gazebo on the beach, if that's your option? Do they do a plain setup with cloth included in the package?
Where did u end up putting your votive candles? How many did you need?

Hello danak71, We put the candles in groups of three down the center of the tables and over by the paper lanterns. We brought 24 of them I think all of them were used. There were lots of candles. After wards Edgar loaded all of the flowers and candles and put them in our room. Double use of these mood setting items :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
