Hey Lauren....so glad it went well..just talking with you all makes me know everyone of us will have a perfect wedding..btw Lauren I'm so not up with times..I'm not on facebook, my space, twitter, nada. So when you get your pix can you post them I would love to see them.

Mesita I'll see about the photog..if i dont find anyone less expensive i like i may set up a registry for them...keep you posted.

 

Also ladies if anyone is interested Yamina can get Tiffany/Chivari Chairs $7 per chair. Which would save the 100.00 vendor fee if you get them through her.....Peace & Love

Hey ladies, I just wanted to say that this thread has been very informative. I have not made a decision on where I want to have my dw, but now I am seriously considering EPM. From the wedding pictures I have seen I don't think I can go wrong with this resort.

Quick question Mesita did you bring a pic down for your hair or did you just describe the look you were going for?

I wanted to ask what type of rooms you ladies booked for yourselves during your stay at EPM and how long will you stay in Mexico (weeks, days, etc...)?

 

Also for those brides who have already returned how was the food honestly... for myself and fi food quality and taste is a must. We even let our TA know that with our resort we were looking for one that served great food. Is it a hit or miss thing?

Oh and Katrese I just realized that you live in Houston!!! I may be moving there in the very near future. We are waiting to see if my husband will get into law school there. So keep your fingers crossed for us!! How do you like Houston?

 

PS...we stayed for 7 nights in room 8464 and it was awesome! It was the excellence club roof top terrace on the top floor. The view was great!

Hey everyone!

I am getting married at EPM on March 27th, 2010. I am sooooooo excited. Just wondering what were your options for ceremony music? Can they play anything you want if you bring a cd? And did they do a rehersal the day before or right before the ceremony?

Hello Ladies,

 

I know its been along time since my last post. Im really sorry but i've been soo busy trying to set up my new house and fulfill my prior obligations. I truly plan to post a review ASAP. I did want to make comments on some previous post. Congrats to all the new Excellence Playa Mujeres Brides.

 

Weimsrking- the music options are their cd, your own cd, or ipod plug in. I opted for the Ipod plug in so you can plan your music accordingly. As far as the food. overall I found the food to be good. Some rest. were better then others. The best meal I had over the course of my 10day stay was at my Wedding Reception. But Chez Isbelle's was a close second. My husband could be considered a Foody he truly enjoyed the food.

 

S-Katrese-my guest stayed at Excellence 5 days and my husband and I stayed 10 days total. We got married on the 3 day after arrival then hung with our guest another day before they left Friday morning. Honestly I dont feel like our honeymoon truly started until they left. But I was truly fun while they were their.

 

I dont remember who asked but if your ask for one their is a walk thru the day before your wedding. Just asked Yamina she'll take care if it for you.

 

We had our wedding at Chez Isbelle's it was great I loved the room it was truly elegent.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
