Do you want to do the beach or gazebo? I think I'm just going to do the stone/lantern aisle decorations they have included in the package to save on costs.

Hi girls

Well my sister has just over 7 weeks till we fly out so super excited !!!

My question...

To the brides that have had their day or to brides that may know..

How long did the ceremony take ? What bt the time between each part ie signing of the registry ? Looking at songs and need to work out how long we have for songs etc.

Thanks

@@ourlovepeaks I am getting married 8/29 and wanted to use the gazebo as well. I'm not sure what we are going to do especially since sand is not an option. My dress alterations are for 4.5" heels (I'm 5'2 my fiancé is 6'4) so unless I pay for more alterations and return my shoes we may go with cafe kafe. Maybe I'll see you there. Good luck with planning. The lack of communication is frustrating but all of the other brides seemed to have the same issues and still enjoy their day.

Hello everyone! I, really excited I found this board! I have been to EPM for vacation last February, and our wedding date is set for 2/28/15. I am curious, how many brides used the spa for wedding day makeup /hair? One of my bridesmaids is a hairstylist, so I have hair covered, but she admits makeup is not her thing.. It's honestly not mine either, and am curious if you have used the spa, how did you like it?

Morgan, The wedding department on site has recently had quite a bit of turn over... however your travel agent should be able to interceed and get a reply. I know that when any of the brides I work with have had problems in getting communication or answers from wedding coordinators I can normally get a very quick reply with one email as they do know me and our agency very well and tend to give our brides very good service.

I would advise having your travel agent email for you right away.

Hola fellow brides!

We have been to EPM twice and loved it so much that we decided to get married there! Our wedding is set for March 20, 2015. I had pretty decent luck with communications via email when I booked, but the coordinator said that the resort doesn't actually assign you a "planner" until about 3 months out from the date of the wedding so I haven't tried to get any additional information since I booked in May.

I'm so glad I found this forum because this is the first place I've found up to date info on real people getting married there LOL.

I had no idea there are additional options for table linens and décor, etc... I thought it was included in the price. I got the Gold package and we're staying in the EC RTT for 7 nights...so excited!

I was wondering what options all of you were offered for cocktails and reception space? We're looking to have the ceremony in the gazebo which is even more beautiful in person...

Are there combination indoor/outdoor space for the reception? I'd like A/C but also have smokers that would want outside options...Is anyone using the Mexican restaurant? It's got a great courtyard with fountain plus indoor and outdoor seating...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
