Don't worry I am sure your wedding is going to be amazing! I am sure they have everything checked off & are on top of it. I hope you hear from them soon!

stefkva - here are the pics from Etsy site...I didn't get to take mine yet. Sorry they are so big  I love the idea of a U shaped table. I could not get my FI on board with it.

Hi BeachBride!

Congrats on your engagment!  I guess they do 3 weddings a day!  Ours is at 4pm that day and we are workin gwith Lleny Gomez.  Who is your WC?  I just got my date confirmed about 2 weeks ago so I feel a little behind and overwhelmed!  Have you decided what you are doing for the reception yet?  Where you are having it and if you are getting a DJ?  There are so many details!

For our reception we used starfish and sandollars to distinguish which guests were having fish vs beef. We did not create an actual seating arrangement but upon arriving to the event terrace there was a table with the place cards for each of the guests. We allowed the guests to choose where they sat which worked out great!

Actually, I just checked my emails and they are charging me $560 for the extra hour (and I have 35 guests).  Not sure how they calculated that cost?  I was told something different earlier from another coordinator, and this quote is actually cheaper than what they gave me.

I extended mainly because I booked their DJ and the minimum time is 4 hours and then the reception is only 3, so I extended.

lliaPSU - Your wedding is coming very quickly!!! We will be there at the same time. Ours is on the 17th but we arrive on the 14th, one day after your wedding :)

I have also read that the reception includes 3 hours so if it starts at 7pm the package would include up to 10pm. We are starting at 6:30pm and going to 9:30pm, then heading to the theater for a show and dancing at the disco afterwards.

Sharon99 -  Your Etsy purchases are super cute! I thought it would be fun to "leave behind" some fun wedding stuff that other EPM brides could use for free, but not sure how that would work - or with the turnover on the wedding coordinators, if it would translate and "pay forward" longer than a week or two (or even a couple of days).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
