Question- were the chairs included or did you pay an upgrade for them? (Normally I see the white plastic chairs and I don't like them, I would much rather have the chiavari (sp?) chairs like you did!)

Thanks ladies..

jbrodhead I got the chairs and some extra decor through Rafaelle Pata of Mayan Hospitatlity he works with Yamina a lot, but I think if you just want the chairs she can get them for you. They can have every color I saw a wedding the day before ours with gold chairs... I also saw a wedding with the white plastic ones...they dont look bad as long as everything else is decorated.

Everything looks AMAZING. The pictures looks so great, Juan seems like a great photographer and I love the dress, I bought a San Patrick too, looks very similar in shape!

 

I had a couple questions, where did you guys have your reception at? I really want to do an outside space like yours, I was originally hoping for the Spice Terrace.

 

What time of day did you guys get married? I am doing Feb of 2011 and getting married at 5pm, I was worried we may have to take pictures before the ceremony.

 

Another other advice?! Everything looks great and Yamina looks so cute, I cant wait to meet her!!

THope thanks for sharing! Ladies how close to the wedding did you really start working on details with Yamina? Did you get everything sorted out once you arrived or did you start sending her photos? We're have a pretty large wedding (100 guests) so I'm starting to think it's about time I get things rolling.

Hi ladies! I have a question for those of you who have been to EPM... Yamina confirmed by reception/dinner will be held at Agave restaurant. For the cocktail hour I have the Agave terrace or Revive bar. Which do you think would be best?

I started emailing Yamina back in December, but that was only really for package options and such. I have been accumulating my questions/pictures and emailing when I have a bunch or if I need to know so I can start working on a project (ie welcome booklets!) She has been pretty amazing and I meet with her Saturday when we arrive.

Any how, if I were you I would email her pictures and such now, just to see if it is an actual possibility and then finalize everything there! :)

Jess - Thanks so much. I have been in touch with Yamina over the months as we were negotiating and finalizing the bigger ticket items with her. Actually just got an email with her today so we'll start sending her photos and ideas and finalize when we get there. You're wedding date is coming up fast. Good luck!

Hey everyone! My fiance and I just chose Excellence Playa Mujeres for our wedding destination for April 2011! After reading all of your posts about the resort we decided it is the perfect place for us. We are confirming our date with Yamina this week!!!!

 

If any of you have already been married there, any suggestions or advice would be great!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
