We honeymooned at EPM and it was everything we could have ever asked for. It is truly a romantic getaway and perfect for a wedding. If we'd had a destination wedding, I would've done it there in a heartbeat.

 

We're from Florida, so our wedding was kind of a destination wedding for a good chunk of our guests anyway.

 

I wrote a *very* detailed review of the property here on Trip Advisor if you'd like to check it out.

I've convinced at least 6 or 7 other couples to go there (some of them complete strangers who just messaged me on Trip Advisor after reading the review) for their honeymoon because I rave about how wonderful it is.

 

I'm so happy for all of you who are getting married there. It really is a wonderful place and you'll be so thrilled you got married there!!

I know it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything, but that doesnt mean I havent been reading all the information you guys post!

 

I had a question, if anyone has used a DJ from an outside vendor who did you use? I saw one recommendation for DJ Doremixx, but I was hoping to contact multiple GOOD (!) DJs.

I'm only THIRTY days away from my EPM wedding!!! It's coming SO fast! : ) I can't wait to be down there!

We'll be using DJ Dorremix and have had a great experience with him so far! He's been really responsive to emails and has sent over great recommendations and song lists!

Any last many tips from anyone!? : )

Hello EPM Brides!

 

First, I just wanted to thank everyone for very very useful tips on planning a wedding in EPM. Yamina's 2 day response times were starting to drive me crazy (i'm just so spoiled with a few hour response time in US!), but after reading through the thread I realized, that she is quite busy and maybe her niceties in the emails are sincere.

 

Our ceremony will be at the beach and I'm trying to figure out the best design for the beach set-up. I don't think I'm a fan of the seashells, but maybe... What are the choices that you made? I wonder if there are pictures of any additional arch designs. Also does anyone have an attachment for the choices of available flower bouquets?

 

I also was wondering about the hair and make-up professionals at the hotel.. are they good?... Does anyone have any feedback?

 

I'm very excited - the resort is lovely - we were there last summer and really enjoying being a little further from all the action in Cancun.

It is pretty sandy and there is a ton of sea grass, but other than that, it is lovely.

All of you wonderful EPM Brides...are any of you having a local reception when you get back for everyone that could not make it to your wedding in Mexico. We are, but we are just doing something laid back. We are going to have a dinner at a local place. Just wondering what everyone else was doing.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
