thanks for your help! we aren't having a legal ceremony but I wonder if they fake it and have us sign something anyway? we are having the sound system...im relieved to hear that he will fade in/out of songs.

I will defintely have to choose a different song for the MOH, parents, etc.

Thanks girls!

i think you do have to sign something in the ceremony anyway, just maybe not in triplicate and with so many witnesses signing!

rest assured, the sound guy will totally take care of everything. just provide him a clearly labeled cd or ipod. couldn't hurt to have the order written on something else too. i had burned a cd and never checked it to make sure it was ok and was really paranoid that it would skip or something LOL, but claudia assured me the sound guy would have checked it beforehand, that it's his JOB to do so.

Someone a few pages back mentioned "Bella's Lullaby" and I checked it out and it is fabulous! I think I'm going to walk down the aisle to it! I have always loved Canon in D - I actually learned it on the piano years ago, but this new song is similar as far as if you want piano in your song and it is sweet.

Bella's Lullaby is a beautiful song...you should also check out River Flows in You by Yiruma. I am downloading a bunch of his songs now to play during the cermony.

FI and I talked alot about this, and we ended up choosing the Keith Kubena version of "Pachabel's Canon"

When we were first dating I used to set my cell phone alarm to the "canon in D" and FI used to call it Peach-a-belle's Canon. He then started calling me Peachabelle or "peach" for short-- so the song is very meaningful. He actually teared up when I played him the version I'd found. yay!smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
