What are you walking down the Aisle to?

Well I chose to play "Turning Page by Sleeping at Last" played in Breaking dawn in wedding of Bella and Edward. Since then I wanted to play  this on my wedding . I was happy when it happened. Just go with your heat, NO hard and fast rules!

We are getting married in Cabo in July. We had to choose a Bridal Party Entrance, Bride's Entrance, and Recessional songs to play on a CD. I think I am going to go with...

1- Train- Marry me

2-  Chantal Kreviazuk- It feels like home

3- Israel Kamakawiwo- Somewhere over the rainbow

Here is my question... are you supposed to play the instrumental versions only or do you play the songs with the actual lyrics during the ceremony? Not sure if it could go either way. I wanted to see what most brides are doing! Thank you!

Whatever you like :). The only song I am

using in instrumental is my song!

Bridal party - marry me by train

My entrance - 1000 years in instrumental by piano guys

Signing - truly madly deeply by savage garden

Exit - on top of the world by imagine dragons.

I used all instrumental music but that was just my preference and just thought it was more romantic.

Bridal party entrance - 1,000 years by the piano guys

Bride entrance - Kissing you by Des'Ree (Romeo and Juliet)

I do's/kissing - Somewhere over the rainbow by the piano guys

Bride/Bridal Party exit - Marry you by Bruno Mars

I'm thinking Canon in D for the bridal party and I Choose You by Sara Bareilles for me.  Our first dance will likely be Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.

I haven't really pinned down the other songs, but you guys all have such great options.  I love this thread!

I have a guitarist who will be playing for the ceremony, so I went with Cannon in D for the Bridal party and Here Comes the Bride for me...sort of boring, but I just fell in love with the acoustic version of both songs.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
