Hello Brides,

How many songs should I have for our prelude? We have 3. Do you think 3 songs is too much? I hear the wedding coordinators at our resort are very punctual. Also, should I pick another song for the recessional? We are only having 40 guests. I think 1 song is plenty of time for all to exit. What do you all think? I apologize for all the questions. Our wedding is almost 2 months away and I'm getting a little antsy. undecided.gif

Here is our ceremony play-list:

CEREMONY MUSIC

Prelude:

Norah Jones – Come Away With Me

Musiq Soulchild – Love

India Arie – Ready For Love

Processional:

Groom/Groomsman: Maxwell – Whenever Wherever Whatever

Bridesmaids: CeCe Winans – I Promise (Wedding Song)

Bride: Train – Marry Me

Sand Ceremony: Beyoncé – Ave Maria

Bride & Groom Exit: James Brown – I Got You (I Feel Good)

Oh no...I haven't even begun to think about this. The only thing I do know is when being announced as man and woman (or whatever wording is used) when walking in for the reception, it will be:

POWER OF LOVE- by Huey Lewis and the News

My FI is a HUGE Back to the Future fan. So that's my way of letting his touch on the wedding come through. :)

I have changed my mind... again! hahaha so difficult to choose btw so many songs I love for the aisle

I have discovered a version of Over the Rainbow by The Piano Guys, so I am going with this!!

I wanted to have sth different from the original one, and thank godness I found this which I love. I love the fact is only instrumental.

I did not know this guys and I love their versions. This is the link to youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzF_y039slk

My made of honour is going to enter at minute 0.22 and I am going to do it at 0.44 after the "claps". I like the change here.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
