What are you walking down the Aisle to?

OMG that is an amazing song!  I have the cd.  Then heard it in the movie "10 Ways to Lose A Guy!"  Not many know it!

I am walking down the aisle to "Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk. The trick for me will be not to cry since when I hear that song, I tend to get teary!

Our final choices were as follows:

Processional for husband and bridal party:  Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

Processional for bride:  Canon in D

Recessional:  All You Need Is Love by the Beatles

I have to be honest, for the sand ceremony I am not entirely certain what our violinist played.  We were so focused on getting our sand into the frame that I barely heard a note she played!   I will have to watch the video when we get it to find out!  cheesy.gif

have you guys heard "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri? She wrote it for the Twilight wedding, and while I'm not a fan of the movie (or books! don't slay me), I absolutely love this song.

I'm trying to figure out how to work it into the ceremony without the FI figuring out what movie it's from, and vetoing it lol

I love, love, love that song! Maybe by the time you walk down the aisle, people will have forgotten?

At least, that's what I am counting on!

good thinking! We heard it in the car earlier, and I casually mentioned that I really liked it. and then changed it before Christina Perri could yammer on about the reason she wrote it....close call!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
