OMG... I think I found THE dress! **UPDATED pics post #27**

Recommended Posts

So I've been going through a little dress saga... I bought a big A-line dress this summer and now I want something a little more fitted to flatter my curves... (http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t32020)

Well I went shopping yesterday, by myself (the first time around I brought my sister, my bridesmaids, and my FMIL). I found a family-owned salon with a huge selection, and a great clearance rack.

I tried on about 10 different dresses, along the lines of what I thought I wanted but nothing was looking right. The owner made a suggestion & pulled this dress out of the clearance racks. It was surprisingly light (not satin) and it just looked so gorgeous on me!

Sorry didn't get any pics of myself in the dress.... but the top part sparkled in the light and the skirt part fit my hips perfectly. I felt like it showed off my curves but wasn't ultra-tight either.

I totally loved the back too...

What do you think?

I hate making rushed decisions but it's the only one left and it's 60% off of the originally marked price-- making it right about the same price as the dress I'm selling!

Wish me luck-- I think I'm going to go back to the store to get it today. They are closed tomorrow and fully booked on Friday with the holidays!

I'm so nervous-- I never thought I'd be a 2-dress bride! Anybody else go through this?

I love the dress, it's gorgeous!! I have been going through the same thing.. I have been secretly looking at dresses online. I think I might go to some shops here in town. I love my dress.. I really do, but I'm having second thoughts. I never thought I would be a 2-dress bride either! I'm a girl with curves too... I guess we will see what happens. I say GET THE DRESS!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
