I just watched the Perez clip Danielle posted and Perez is so right about the whole story. They didn't "elope" the wedding was planned out and they signed a contract with US Weekly to have them cover the wedding for this weeks issue. He said Spencer and Heidi just said they eloped for more drama.... cause drama sells magazines. I totally think that is what happened, cause Speidi will do anything for media attention!!

Ditto, I think she mentioned it in the shout thread.

Haha I was more just curious as to what would happen. So I mentioned what it would actually take for them to be legally married...apparently if you have tips and stuff you email his people and that's pretty much what his entire blog is based on!

Haha...shocker...the whole thing was filmed for the Hills - which means a) it WAS pre-meditated or B) just a total stunt for the show. No surprise. I think when the Hills is all said and done, and if they don't get their own reality show, they'll probably break up within 6 months. I have a feeling this publicity crap is all they have. I mean honestly, who lets a reality show come with them on their HONEYMOON?! That's just wrong!

Heidi and Spencer's Wedding, Honeymoon to Be Featured on The Hills

Wednesday November 26, 2008

Buzz up!Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's married life will play a prominent part on The Hills' upcoming fifth season, says executive producer Liz Gateley.

Gateley tells MTV News that cameras are still down in Mexico, where the two eloped last week, filming their honeymoon.

"MTV is currently filming Heidi and Spencer in Mexico, as we were expecting to capture them on vacation," Gateley says. "Fans will be able to see the exclusive footage from the ceremony in an upcoming episode, and we will continue to follow the newlyweds' relationship as it plays out in real life."

Their Hills pals couldn't be more thrilled.

"I'm excited for Heidi and Spencer, and I hope they have a long and happy marriage," Audrina Patridge tells Usmagazine.com. "When you spend time with the two of them, it's obvious how much they love each other, and how committed they are. Their wedding sounds like it was very intimate and romantic."

Whitney Port tells Extra, "Congratulations to them. I think it's great if that's what they're ready to do. Good for them."

BREAKING NEWS: Spencer Pratt Breaks His Silence for First Time Since Marrying

Wednesday November 26, 2008

Buzz up!Spencer Pratt is laughing at reports that his recent wedding to Heidi Montag was fake.

"We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer," he tells Usmagazine.com in a statement. "We've never been happier."

Pratt and Montag are still in Mexico.

Mexico will marry American citizens and perform elopements. Other couples -- including Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Jewel and Ty Murray, who recently wed abroad -- can legalize their unions before, or in the case of elopements, after a foreign ceremony in the United States.

Adds Pratt, "Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we'll take care of the legal details when we get home."

Meanwhile, Hills executive producer Liz Gateley tells MTV News that the couple's married life and honeymoon will play a prominent part on The Hills' upcoming fifth season.

Cameras are still down in Mexico, where the two eloped last week, filming their honeymoon, she says.

"MTV is currently filming Heidi and Spencer in Mexico, as we were expecting to capture them on vacation," Gateley tells MTV News. • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
