Hi Brides! I am getting married at Dreams Cabo on 10/23/09. Does anyone know any Wedding Designers/Coordinators that I can hire? Any referrals would greatly help!

Also, has anyone hired one when they had their wedding at Dreams? Does Dreams get upset or anything?

Hi

First of all, Congratulation on your wedding.

There are a lot of WC that are great at what they do. Personally I've worked with Varinia from Allure Event Designs and she is GREAT, also I've worked with Adriana from BBW, and her event was amazingly organized, she's very attentive and, what I think that could be one of her best attributes, she cares... Also she's under going certification (or already done, I can't remember)...

Feel free to PM if you need any help.

Everything else could have been handled by my Dreams WC Mariana. My outside WC handled my flowers and the music and cake, but the rest was handled by Mariana, the wedding coordinator that Dreams provides.

In my opinion if you have already found Dreams the hard work is done. The WC there are more than equipped to handle any needs you have. There are so many resources on this forum that I honestly beleive you do not need an outside coordinator. In fact, at times, having two coordinators was almost more difficult. Even thought my WC work together all the time and work perfectly together, and this might not be the case for all outside WC, in hindsight, I would just have used my Dreams coordinator if I knew from the begining that I was getting married there.

I am sure you will find what works best for you! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi there.

Dreams is an excellent resort to get married, it's an all inclusive hotel, their rates are very good, you can have your weddinga t the beach or at the gazebo and the reception in one of their nice terraces, like Cascadas or Oceana (My personal fav. by the way), is a lot more private, intimate, this way you and your guests will enjoy the evening even better.

Dreams DO let outside WC, the dreams coordinators, actually, have no problem when working with an outside WC because they have too many weddings on their hands, and it's hard for them to give the same amount of time and quality to each and everyone one of them.

Good luck and have fun planning your wedding.

I was using Baja Weddings and they were great - but then I decided to do PV instead of Cabo.

I think Dreams will charge you extra if you want to use an outside coordinator though so make sure you find out how much

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
