Guess what?! Although I tried to sell my Mom on that whole idea (she wasn't buying it), you wouldn't believe it... but my dress is actually cleaner now than after the wedding!

I brought it home and I'm going to have it drycleaned and pressed and honestly, it's as good as new! Now for the closet dilema!!!
ya. you are one of the ones who prompted this thread wink.gif but simply cause of the inflation that happend. you werent the fishing net dress.

isnt it funny though how much cleaner it is after wards. salt water really does a great job of cleaning a dress. as long as you rinse it out and get the sand out.

and more pics to come wink.gif

Ok, I've been thinking about this for a few days now and I just have to ask... If my wedding dress is going to become see thru after it gets wet, then won't the nude colored underthings I am wearing also become see thru? I might just go with Jean Marcus' line of thinking and not wear them at all. lol cheesy.gif

so my dress was see through from the waist down, when wet. I wore light blue undies and you could only see them in a few pics.. this is the pic that you can see them the most

So I guess I'm not sure if it's better to have them be seen or not? Who knows! I can't decide - if you couldn't see them could you still tell the dress was see through?

My mom and others keep trying to convince me to get another dress, but I like the contrast of this elegant dress being roughed up by the elements. It's not that I hate my dress I say. It's for artistic reasons, lol. Hopefully she'll get it. I'm not gonna tell her. Just gonna show her the pictures :) My dress is mostly tulle, and it's sorta heavy on the bottom. I can only imagine it'll be heavier....but hopefully not full of the day's catch, lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
