April Weight Watchers

Hi ladies, I basically took the month of March off, not on purpose just so busy. I stopped my membership with WW because I wasn't ever going and that $40 a month is just too much for our one income family right now.

I am still down about 8 pounds since I started in January, spring break was bad though I gained, I have been really good this week.

I still have to tone up my arms and lose another 10 lbs before the wedding (only three months)

I've been doing so good during the day, but then at night I end up eating my daughters easter candy! What is wrong with mehuh.gif However, its almost all gone now, so I won't have to worry about that. I'm going to weigh in on friday no matter what, hopefully I will have not gained!

That's great Janet! I'm very happy for you!

Jill- I've been bad and eating all the easter chocolate too. It's nuts. And I was in walmart the other night and they had all easter stuff 40% off. I wanted so much but I pulled myself away from the candy isle... it was hard but I'm glad I didn't walk out with a billion chocolate easter bunnies. darn holidays.

So... someone needs to send me some self dicipline/self control. Or send me a newer version of Joe that has self control! I swear that boy would eat cookies until his stomach exploded. Which is not good for me because then I'm like "oh, a cookie does look good, maybe I should have 1...or 2" ugh. Getting Joe on the WW bandwagon is hard! Are you girls going it alone, or getting FI involved too??

I know exactly how you feel. Steve eats anything he wants and doesn't really gain weight, he's got a little gut right now, but nothing major. Not enough to stop him from eating steak and cheese grinders and pizza, you get the picture.

the one thing that is good is that he doesn't really like sweets, its very rare that he'll eat cookies or chocolate, but I just get these immense cravings for sweet stuff, that sometimes I can't stop myself. Steve asked me if I was pregnant today because I said I really needed some chocolate!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
