Question about Dreams Punta Cana

The kids free policy isnt applicable to groups, I just confirmed it with a Dreams representative.

Kids 12 and under are free to stay at the resort....you have to pay for the airfare...I think I was paying around $500 per child....hope that helps

Yes, that does help you have to pay for the airfare and the transfer the any children under 12.

The promotion that's on the website about the kids stay free and eat free has been there all year, I don't think that applies to 2009. However, I have contacted the WC at Dreams and I believe they are extending that promotion to 2009 but she hasn't gotten back to me with the dates. As soon as I know i'll post.

The WC just stated that they're only offering the 'Kids stay free' promotion for the month of August only. Is this true? Because from the post above it seems as if Dreams extended the promotion for 2009 not just for the month of August. Can someone reply and let me know if they heard different? Thanks.

My travel agent told me that the kids free policy is still in effect for all of 2009. I have spoken to more than one travel agents at different companies that said the same thing as well.

This is what I got from a Liberty TA:

Children Prices:

 

Ages: 0-2 are Free

 

Ages: 3-11 pay airfare and a child’s transfer rate of $17.00

 

Age: 12 pay airfare and adult transfer rate of $34.00

 

Any child above 13 years of age pay adult rate for room, flight and transfer.

Hello, so how do you get around the fact that it doesn't apply to group booking? Do you just tell the couples that have children to book separately?

My Travel agent didnt book my guests under a group so it worked out. The prices were good without getting a group rate.
