1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I love wrapping presents

 

2. Real tree or Artificial? For now...artificial, once we get married, we will start a tradition of going to the NC mountains for a real tree :)

 

3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving

 

4. When do you take the tree down? after New Years

 

5 . Do you like eggnog? Absolutely. I loooove egg nog!

 

6. Favorite gift received as a child? A stuffed animal puppy (I really wanted a real puppy, but the stuffed one was a great alternative)

 

7. Hardest person to buy for? I don't think there is one...

 

8. Easiest person to buy for? FI

 

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes - My Oma made a few sets for her daughter-in-laws and she recently passed her set on to me

 

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail for sure

 

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I don't know about "worst," but I got a mu-mu flannel night gown from FI's grandmother last year...kind of embarassing

 

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Scrooged...oh just onehuh.gif

 

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? After Thanksgiving

 

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No

 

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My Oma's German Christmas cookies...all made from scratch!

 

16. Lights on the tree? All color, all the time!

 

17. Favorite Christmas song? So This Is Christmas - John Lennon

 

18. Travel at Christmas or stay at home? Most of my family is local, but I still go and stay the night at my parent's house on Christmas Eve (this will probably be the last year!!)

 

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph

 

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star

 

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We open presents at Oma's the night before, with my parents on Christmas morning and at FI's parents Christmas night

 

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? People at the Mall

 

23. What theme or color are you using? My theme is all bright, bold colors - pink, purple, blue, yellow, green, orange...

 

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner. I'm big into side dishes, so any potluck dinner with mac-n-cheese and cream corn is good for me!!

 

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I just want time with my friends and family this year...

 

26. Who is most likely to respond to this? Some BDW Girls wink.gif

 

27. Who is least likely to respond to this? Not Sure

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
