I had hundreds, but I think the more important thing is to make sure you specify if you want certain people or elements of your wedding captured on film prior to the wedding day, as you'll be too crazed on that day, and the photographer can't read your mind. Sometimes they go by who you are spending time with at the wedding, but there are very dear people to me I spent quality time with on the days before but didn't spend much time w/at my actual wedding b/c I was so all over the place, you know?

I had 2000 on cd, but that was overboard. Many of them are repeats of the same photo (the wonder of digital photography). Many photographers will sort through them for you and only give you the best ones. My photographer just deleted the ones with closed eyes or other obvious problems and gave us all the rest, letting us choose our favorites out of the ones that are the same.

If I only had photos that were different, then I think 500 would do. I actually sorted them and put together a folder with my top 700 favorite. So I guess anywhere between 400-700 and I would be happy. But that is with having a photographer all day.

If I was using your photographer with those packages, I would probably go with 200.

I usually provide between 500-700 or so for full day coverage (6-9 hours). The amount depends on how many hours of coverage my clients choose. Another factor that comes into play is that at some weddings there are more things going on (more dancing, etc.) compared to other weddings, and so that also affects the total number of images I deliver.

If you are only going to have 2-3 hours of coverage, then 100-200 would be about the right number of images to expect.

Best wishes,

Tod

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
