Thats so exciting!!! I can't believe how close your wedding date is now!!! YAY! So about your hair.. I found out about what I may do for mine on this forum.. someone suggested getting a hair trial done at your hometown and have them take pictures during the process so when you go to the resort you can show them the pictures and have them try and recreate it... I think thats what I will be doing... makes things a little less stressful if you have something to show them!

tracy s - GREAT idea about the hair.. I think I will work on that the next couple weeks... so what I can come up with...

yeah the dress fitting is in a couple hours and there is a FULL OUT BLIZZARD going on outside.. haha.. kinda funny...

when I got engaged in Sept, I started going to the gym.. I have gone from trying on size 12-14 wedding dresses to having my size 10 having to be taken in cause the laces meet... So I wish I could have put my dress fitting off a bit longer... or gotten a size 8.. but if that's all I have to complain about LIFE ain't that bad.. haha..

I feel like a 'dork' saying I have a personal trainer.. but after a 2004 car accident I have spent a crap load of money on massage and chiro... (neck & upper back injury) and since hitting the gym bearly a penny... best $$ I have ever spent and it's only twice a week for 25mins.. and watching my food...

Question to you ladies... how much did you spend on your dresses?? Mine is currently on sale.. I am inquiring as to how much on sale but I just wanted to ball park it and see what everyone else paid for theirs??.. Also are you guys doing A TTD session? If so did you use another dress?? I am thinking I want to find a cheaper dress to do this in, but I guess I am looking for opinions! Let me know! Thanks! :)

I bought mine online for $370 usd... i found it in the store, and bought it online because it was 600$ cheaper... Not doing a trash the dress because we don't have time after the wedding unfortunately we leave the next day.. lots of ladies seem to be passing on dresses for cheap though that would be great for a TTD if you want another. Have you looked online at the cost of yours?

I spent 540US for mine.. I found the dress in a store here in Canada.. and they wanted 1150 plus tax.. Yikes.. so I 'googled' it and found the exact same dress in the US at a bridal store going out of business NWT. I was VERY happy.

I would search used pages for a TTD. Check out Kijiji in Calgary and you can get something for $100 I'm sure.. so wade around in the ocean in.. haha.. good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
