Photog Rafael Ibanez

Hi girls,

I am the first bride from this forum, whose wedding was captured by this photographer so I want to share with you the information about him.

I got married 30.10.2008 in Playa del Carmen and Rafael was our photographer.

I found him here in this forum and even took a part in a special Rafael's contest (photo giveaway) but I didn't win :-) Even though we loved his work so much that we asked him to be our photographer. He was with us almost 3 days. The evening before wedding, all wedding day and the day after (Trash the dress session). It was really fun to work with him and I think that it is shown on our pictures.

He made over 1500 pics.

Rafael made for us also two slideshows:

First is from our wedding:

Another one is from Trash The Dress Session:

I have to add that in a contract we had only one slideshow, TTD was a gift from Rafa.

He is really nice person. He created so cheerful and friendly atmosphere that we forgot about all stress and shame.

We are from Poland and many people have already seen these pictures. All of them are a big fans of Rafa now.

I asked Rafa about places where he can work and he told me that he would go whereever brides want :-)

So if you want to have your wedding captured in unforgetable pictures you should ask Rafael to be your photographer. :-)

Beautiful pictures Magda & Rafael! It's so great to hear a good review since we've already booked him :)

I'm so excited about our wedding and having Rafael a part of it! I think his personality will blend perfectly with our guests. Thanks for your post!

We walked like 1 mile south from the beach of the Riu Yucatán, was a beach with no hotels.

It wasn't just walk, we played and Rafael took the pics all the way, so we didn't feel like we walked so long distance ;-)

    • Now we can say life is divided into before and after. And only now I understand our life was so good when there were no restrictions and quarantine. Thank you for sharing this beautiful wedding story. We also got married before the pandemic, and we had a beautiful wedding and a wonderful honeymoon. And during the quarantine, my husband lost his job and was depressed, we had big family problems that could lead to a divorce. Fortunately, I found a blog with marriage advice on how to avoid divorce and we passed this test.
