This looks absolutely amazing!!! You have done a great job, it is goign to look fabulous! I have one questions. How did you do your chapstick labels. I have done mine 2x with 2 different types of labels and cannot get them to stay stuck, they keep unraveling. Thanks!

I ordered the chapstick from LipBalmExpress.com and I love it! I ordered the watermelon flavor and it smells great. The cost was around $57.00 for 100 lip balms and shipping. You pick the color of the cap and the text and you get three lines to type in your info...it was SO easy.

You probably will have to use super glue or rubber cement or one of those multisurface glues in the hardware section to get it to stick to the plastic.

Goodluck!!

I absolutely love everything you did and am definitly going to refer to this thread for inspiration when my time comes. I hope I can muster the creativity to be as detailed, every aspect of your trip and wedding is going to be amazing. Would you mind sharing how you did the notebooks? They are AWESOME!

I purchased the books from Oriental Trading (DYO! HARD COVER SPIRAL NOTEBOOK) they were 8 for $9.95. I then designed each of the pages, printed in color, cut them out. I pasted three pages of the notebook together to make the pages more sturdy and make the notebook appear more full. Finally, I pasted in the 19 pages I designed into the notebook. I used a sticker for the front cover.

On the inside cover I used a self adhesive business card holder from Office Supplies | Buy Discount Office Supplies, Office Furniture, Chairs, Breakroom Supplies, School Supplies, Ink And Toner (Vinyl Holder, 2"x3-1/2", 10/PK, Clear). I purchased 50 for 13.45 including shipping. I printed the photoshare cards through Vista Print and stuffed a couple in each book.

I will try to get the templates for the pages soon. I had a friend design them in publisher and he is going to convert them to adobe for me. I asked him to do it earlier in the week because I just knew someone would ask for them!

By the way, the books are amazing, but they are SO much work. I am not sure if you have a big group or not, but it is a serious time commitment.

If I had to do it again I would take it to kinkos or print it on card stock myself and then have them cut it and put in a spiral binding. With 19 pages it would have been worth it considering the amount of ink and cutting and the minor cost of the binding at kinkos it might even have been cheaper.

Good luck!

    • STAY AWAY FROM CARIBBEAN EMOTIONS PHOTOGRAPHY!!!! Michael Weiler is a SCAMMER he took our money and disappeared!! we hired him as our photographer for our wedding back in November, he gave us a run around for the first week or 2 saying our pictures are almost ready and then disappeared. we have been sending him emails, texts and phone calls for the past 4 months and he is now where to be found. I made a fake account to email him and he answered right away as he is only interested in taking peoples money and not give anything in return.
    • For weddings you should definitely use a travel agent as there are promotions and amenities with a group block that you will not get by booking individually like comped rooms, upgrades, spa treatments, etc.
    • Congratulations and welcome to the forum! There are lots of great resort options in Punta Cana and we have stayed at or toured many of them.  Are you looking for a family friendly resort or adults only?  What you interested in with nature and the ceremony? All of the resorts will have different wedding locations and there are also a variety of off resort wedding venues in Punta Cana. Please feel free to email us at info@wrighttravelagency.com if you'd like us to send resort info and check group rates. Thanks! Patty
    • Hello Everyone!  I am currently in the initial stages of planning and I am starting to look at resorts in Dominican Republic. I am thinking of having my wedding in October 2020.  I have been looking at resorts in Punta Cana, but I also want to look at other options/areas as well. The groom and I enjoy nature and we would like to incorporate that into our wedding in some way. We may also have a guest list between 50-80 people. Since we live in the US, I wanted to find a location that is accessible from major airports and is cost efficient for our guest as well as us. Can anyone share what locations they have searched or been to other than Punta Cana? Also I am okay to receive feedback on some Punta Cana locations.
    • Thank you! I did not make these. I purchased them from a business. They are still for sale if you are interested!
