Girls I need your help bad, I need invites for our wedding reception in Toronto. It's in 2 months and I haven't even done the invites yet. I got quoted thi ridiculous price for invites at one store...like $500 for 40, that's just crazy.

So the thing I need help with is....wording o write on the invite. I have no clue, we will be already married and were just inviting people for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Here is the info if any of you are bored and want to help me write something up.

Edyta, are you wanting to do something like a traditional wedding announcement with the information for the AHR on the bottom? I might have an idea for you that you could easily DIY and not spend a ton of money...

Hi Edyta...

wht about something simple like this? You could get some realy good quality paper and print it off at home or stapls then just add some decorative ribbon in the color of your choice.

As for the wording... you can take out the "wedding ceremony" and replace it with "wedding reception" or "celebration in the mariage of Mr. and Mrs. Babij"

Ooh Edyta I like this one that Melissa found for you. I think it is short and very cute. And Sarah and Melissa are right you shouldn't spend so much money for these, you can easily make them yourself. You can either print them yourself from cardstock you buy and add a ribbon or I'm sure Ms. Martha herself (Sarah) has tons of DIY templates for you.

Hey Edyta. I believe you are from Toronto and the girl I found to create my invites is from Aurora. She is amazing..they are really unique and creative and reasonable priced. For our invites she made little beach bags with the saying "Pack Your Bags" that you could actually open up and it had little pockets inside with the RSVP, travel agent info etc. She has many different ideas and styles. Her name is Jeromina and her company is called "Out-of-the-Box Ideas". She has a website with some samples. My FH and I were just really pleased with her work and service. Hope that helps :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
