Christa thank you for sharing the review and I am so glad you had an amazing time (minus chauferring everyone around). That is wonderful that you got to relax after all the stress of wedding planning.

I can only say that I am SOOO envious of you. Chris and I only stayed an extra 4 days after the wedding and it was waay too little time.

Sounds like it was wonderful. I totally agree, it was really weird going from such a tiny resort to a HUGE resort.

That stinks! I wish you could have taken more time...is there a honeymoon in your future?

I will say that adapting to life at home has been a challenge - I'm so tired! And I don't know why. I hope I make it thru work tomorrow...

We tried to change our flight, it was just really poor planning. We want to do a big HM trip to Thailand, but we have to look at when our schedules will mesh for that. We want to plan it around one of my trips overseas for work.

Enough about that. I totally relate. I've been exhausted and I know that work tomorrow is going to be SUPER depressing.

AWESOME Christa! As always you kept me laughing through out your review. Cabo definately has some great restaurants, I am so happy that you mentioned the names of a couple. Like you we are staying an extra week and our HM resort is non- AI so reasonable, good eats are important.

I hope to get to Todos Santos as well! It seems like a wonderful experience and relaxing way to just explore. FI wants to explore San Jose as well. Trust that many of your suggestions will make it on our to do list.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
