My wedding will be at the gazebo.  I didn't even think about the clean up with the fake flowers.  I may give in and get the real ones.

LED candles are a great idea.  They would give the reception tables a romantic touch.  Are you bringing them down with you, or shipping?

I would like to purchase rose petals for the isle to give it some color. My sashes are ivory and my bridesmaids are a bright blue. I'm thinking one bag should be enough. If not, I would probably just opt out. Maybe I would splurge on 2 bags, but def not more than that.

Also, @newlove, I don't think that they will allow fake petals. Is your ceremony on the beach?

I think the overlays are a great idea. That is something I may look into, but I think we are pretty much done with the spending!

I was originally going to ship everything down there but am now just packing it all and checking it. I should be able to get it all in one suitcase, and maybe carry on the vases since they are glass. I'm only having three tables so it isn't too much. The candles I am using are votive size.

Thank you! The more I think about it, the more I am leaning towards purchasing them. I think it could be worth the $40 for two bags, especially since I am not doing any other decor for the ceremony. I'm not purchasing anything for the chuppah.

Dear brides

the wedding day is coming very slowly and I haven't decided yet the bouquet.

I don't want upgrade it, just the included one. I would like lilac/pink boquet but in the BRIDE BOUQUETS file there aren't in these colors.

Have you received more pictures regarding the included bouquets?

Thank  you

Hey everyone, I hope your planning is going well! Everything was finally coming together and then yesterday I went to finally book my fiances mother's room (we waited because she had lost her green card and had to apply for a new one and then after she got that she had to get a new passport and it was taking forever) and now every single room at Secrets Maroma except for the honeymoon suite is BOOKED for our wedding ! This sucks :( now his mom probably can't stay there! I thought the prices would go up if we waited but not that all the rooms would be booked. All the other Secrets have rooms except Maroma for our dates. Ironic, lol. I hope it all works out. Does anyone know if you rent the sound system for the ceremony if you have to burn your music on a cd or if you could just play it from your iPhone?

That's awful!  Makes me nervous for people who I know are going to drag their feet and book everything last minute for our wedding.  Fingers crossed everything works out for you!  Hopefully something will open up.  Or better yet, maybe they'll give you a deal on the honeymoon suite ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
