I have found in my high definition pictures the hooks where you can hang the fabrics in the front. I have underlined them with yellow color.

In the sides I haven't seen the hooks, only knots around the wood.

Hi dsr- When is your wedding?

Before you arrive at the resort, your wedding coordinator will schedule a time to meet with you when you arrive. You will then go over the contract and verify when the photographer will arrive (It is your decision to make, not the hotel). You will want to have as much of your contract complete and already sent to Cecilia/Valeria before you arrive. There is a place on the contract that will have the time for the photographer. Our wedding was at 3:00 and we originally had him scheduled for 3:00. Cecilia suggested in our meeting that we change it to 2:00 so that he could get photos of us getting ready. So, we changed it when we met with her, and she handled the photographer. We didn't have to contact them to let them know.

As for the groomsmen and all of that, Cecilia/Valeria will take care of all of that. She will tell you and them the day of, I will be here at this time to get you, this is where you need to be, etc. She came by our room several times while we were getting ready to check in and keep us updated. She kept the groomsmen/groom updated as well.

Yes but that will depend on the package you are getting. We did Special Package #1 which includes 5 hours of photography. Basically the photog will be there for as many hours as you have hired him for.

So, who is doing (or has done) a pre-travel newsletter? That is my current project. I am creating a 'packing list' on vistaprint rack cards. Does anyone have a 'packging list' they can share. I want to be sure to include the dress code requriements on this packing list for the restaurants. Id love a template if anyone has one to share! Iam finally at 150 posts, and can see the templates, HALLELUJAH!

Hey all! I got back from Secrets a couple of days ago, but now we are moving tomorrow so I won't be able to post my full review until we get settled in. But, everything was awesome! You guys are going to love the resort. All of our friends that stayed other places were so envious because theirs just did not compare. It is surreal at first how awesome it is, hahaha. Once you get there, you will see all of your worrying and stress is put to rest because everything will get taken care of. And for you guys that are worrying about using the resort photographer (Juan Navarro and his team), You do not need to worry!! We had Alex and Tony and our pictures were absolutely spectacular! I will post a few down below so you can see.

I'm doing one.  I had them printed as Brochures on Vista Print.  It's based on some other ones I've seen on this site.  I'll scan and post it tonight after I get home.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
