I have followed your wedding from the side of the beach and I have seen the beautiful turquoise arrangment!

Both of you were fantastic and I liked your dress very much!

I think I have seen you during trash the dress some days after the wedding but I haven't told you anything because you  seemed me very tired and cold and I didn't want disturb you.

Could you tell me how is trash the dress? is it diffucult and tiring?

Hi Jen, I would have to say that the DJ was not cheesy at all. I was also worried about this bc I have seen some cheesy DJ's here in the states at weddings and parties. He spoke to us privately right before the reception (introduction of us and bridal party to guests). He talked us through everything privately and did a great job making announcements like the cake cutting, first dance, etc. Def not cheesy or corny. I thought he was really cool and just seemed really comfortable and confident with what he was doing. Def very professional and dressed in all black with slacks, dress shoes, and a jacket too. They played perfect music for the dinner and right after dinner, he had every single guest dancing and we danced all night. He didn't play anything like the chicken dance or hokey pokey and he sounded great when he spoke. It was so much fun!

Have you taken this service? Who has been your operator?

Have you been happy?

Hi Cri! I ended up not doing the video. We just didn't really feel the need for it and wanted to spend the money elsewhere. We ended up upgrading our photographer for 5 hours and hopefully he caught all the special moments.

I was worried about to stumble on the sand but the day of the wedding, being rained, sand was compact and hard ;-)

As it regards the cake,  it was very simple, only one level (but much more then enough for 10 people) , it was white with a small decoration.

For us the cake wasn't an important item also because, before the wedding cake we had eaten a Mango Napoleon dessert and it was fantastic!

If some of you, future bride, the cake it's an important detail, ask to Cecilia to upgrade it but remember, the wedding menu included one more dessert.

Cri, is this at the Gazebo?  Did they move your ceremony decorations to the Gazebo for the reception for you or did you have to take care of that yourself?

Cri Cri...trash the dress was really fun!! It was very tiring and difficult.  But that might be because my dress was extremely heavy. I'm so happy we decided to do TTD. It was so fun, and i've only seen the two teaser pictures, but I can't wait.  It was another excuse to get into my dress, and it was a great memory to cherish.

We upgraded our video to video package 2.  I haven't seen the video yet, but I love their work.  The company is Cancun Wedding Video. I'll post the video as soon as I have it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
