Hi, I am also not completely sure about this but I have:

about 15 minutes worth of songs for the seating of the guests, not sure if we will need that many but I hope so bc I love the songs I have chosen!

Then I have 1 song for fiance walking our moms down the isle. The same song is going to be used for our wedding party (pretty small wedding party).

I have one song for me.

I am going to choose 2 songs to be played during the ceremony....not sure how that works though or if we will use those songs. I want to have them in case though.

Then we will do an exit song.

I hope that helps.

Hi everyone! 15 days till my wedding at SMB!

Amber, I'm not sure if Cecilia told you how many songs yet, but she told me:

3 beginning songs

song for bridal party

song for bride walk

song during the ceremony

song after the ceremony for the walkout

3 songs for the end

I don't know why but I'm having a very hard time picking out songs.

I hope this helps!

Bpokatie you are a lifesaver!  Thank you so much :)  That is a lot more than I thought!  But, that makes me excited because luckily we have too many that we like.

Is anyone else nervous that it is going to be extremely hot outside during your ceremony?  Mine is in July and I am starting to think we might all sweat to death.  My ceremony was at 6:00 so I thought it would be fine, but I have had to move mine up to 4:30 because we have to fit in our cocktail hour before our dinner reservation at 6:30.  And does anyone know how long the actual ceremony is?  Thanks guys!!

I am extremely worried about this. My ceremony is at 3:00 in the afternoon. It's going to be super hot. Hopefully it will be breezy and nice, but I'm just counting on it being hot as you know what. But hey, it's mexico in the middle of the summer so it's expected.

Our ceremony is at 3. We then have a break til 5:00 when the cocktail hour starts.

Ceremony lasts about 30 minutes. i have read other posts that said it lasted about 20.

I was worried about the heat as well.. We are getting married at 4 pm. I ended up buying fans to place on all of the chairs. They turned out super cute. I ordered them in white, and then decorated them with purple rhinestones and ribbons. They also are engraved with our name and wedding date, so this is like a wedding favor.

Here's what I got: http://weddingshop.theknot.com/personalized-silk-fan.aspx

If you're thinking about getting them, and you have a while until your wedding then keep an eye on them because they go on sale all the time. I got mine for $1.50 each.

How much the photo package 5 costs in your price list? I think my price list is wrong

Photo package 4 -  $1030

Photo package 5 -  $1700 (???)

Photo package 6 -  $1300

But the package 6 has all included in the package 5 + all negatives and costs less ... I think there is a mistake

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
