She definately beat the price if I book seperate flight and hotel with expedia, but not the price they gave me for booking together. Anyone have any experience with this? Do TA's get that same discount for booking together? I would ask her, but I feel like I've already driven her crazyyyy lol
No worries - that's why we're all here :)

I'm working with destinationweddings.com, and if your guests are willing to pay everything at once, destination weddings will price match any online deal. TA's are eligible for all the same discounts. My consultant is Cheryl Wilson

Good luck! Alana

BTW... the last set of files labeled "trash" were when we were actually trashed and jumped into the pool at the end of the evening!!

Hi Ladies - hope you had a nice weeknd!

Are any of you a little worried about the not-so-private bathroom situation at SMB for your non-couple guests??

some of my guest are single and therefore will be sharing a room with a friend, and mother in law who will be sharing a room with her another son, and my dad and my brother who will be sharing a room... And I didn't really give this a thought until I started sending STDs... As a couple, I believe it is a very romantic how the jacuzzi is set up but for others, it really won't give them any privacy... sad.gif Am I worrying too much? Do I just have too many high maintenance girlfriendshuh.gif I am hoping that guests will work things out themselves. Ladies - what are your thoughts on this??

There is a curtain that closes thru the window between the jacuzzi and the bedroom - although it's a little shear, it does help. The toilette is private and the shower door steams up when you are in there - so it;s not that bad.

I think guests who share rooms already know what they are getting into.

you can relax :)

Hey Everyone!

My FI and I were talking, and we decided to go with the ultimate package for our wedding. However, we actually like the food choices better on the silver menu. I know people have said Cecilia is pretty open, but has anyone switched out the menu options for their wedding food (or do you know if that is possible)?

I used mostly items from the Gold Menu, but I did downgrade for the soup in the silver menu. Ask Cecilia for the menu options and pick from any thing Gold or below. They just won't let you upgrade to "platinum" for free.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
