Hi Sam,

I'm not at ROR, but I feel your pain! We're trying to book at Palladium and things seem to be quite confusing for us as well. I was starting to think that perhaps ROR would be better since it's been around longer and may have things worked through a bit better. I'm interested to see the responses to your question from the brides/grooms getting married at ROR. If it seems to be easier to sort out...I'm switching!

Best of luck to you!! I'm sure you'll get some great responses. Everyone out here is extremely helpful!

The search tool in the right hand corner of your screen will really help you out. First, the RIU website explains what each wedding package comes with. The options for a reception are Mammee Bay, Plantation, Poolside, Disco, or Seagrape. If you search each of these, you will find more info and pics as well. Also, look under the Wedding Reviews area and you can read reviews and view pics from previous brides. Good luck!

Definitely search the forum...there is TONS of info here. To be honest, most of my questions were answered on this forum...I didn't start corresponding with the wedding coordinator until a month ago...my wedding is in 2 months! lol

Just take your time and everything will come together wink.gif

I was really overwhelmed when I first came on the forum, but just type any search you want and you will get tons of information. For the flowers there are tons of pictures on here, just type in "flowers", if you want to upgrade you flowers you do so through Tai Flora, their website is Tai Flora Services Ltd. - Jamaica's Full Service Florists, and have tons of pictures of the flower options.

Good Luck and Have Fun!!!

Sam, I was in your boat about 1 month ago. Lost and confused not knowing where to start. All I did was pick a topic I think I started with ROR and read and read and read all posts I could find, made a ton of notes. And believe it or not it all came together. I still have a thousand questions but at least I am more clear.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
