Question for the ladies

Recommended Posts

Why is something as simple as getting a seamless, strapless bra so difficult? So I went to VS the other day and got a strapless bra so that I can decide during my first dress fitting which option would give me the most support. So the lady told me that I can get a 32 or 34C, so I took the 34C and figured I would try it on at home, (I have the worst luck with strapless bras and I didn't have time at the time to try it on in the store) So I tried the bra on at home and sure enough it started to slide down. So, I go back to the mall today for a 32C,, Would you believe they don't sell a 32C? Only a 32B, so she tries to explain that it will still fit (I still don't understand her reasoning) so fine whatever I say ok I'll get the 32B,, oh well we don't carry the color (ivory) that you are looking for in this store.. So she calls to another mall and they stock that color, now I have to go to a different mall to get a differernt bra that may or may not fit. SO my question to you guys is this: Why don't they sell a 32C bra? (well she told me they only have two styles in that size, but neither would work for my dress) BUT I'm I the only person in the world that wears a 32C? I would think not..

I could but I'm so afraid it won't give me the support I'm looking for. That's why I wanted a backup plan just in case.. BTW Ann I found out that I wasn't a 34C by getting re-measured, apperently that's why the bra kept falling down. I bet you have the same issue as I do, besides your my long lost sister so it would only make since if that was the case.. :-)

i did that once too - a little while ago, so i should probably have it redone. i was wearing a 36C and they told me i was a 34C. i should really get remeasured though!

I feel certain I must have seen a 32C somewhere before...because I remember seeing it and thinking, "If I met a 32C girl, I might have to slap her for being tiny and cute w/ good sized boobs!" hit.gif LOL!

(I meant girls that are not Tammy or Ann, of course!)

But seriously...I think possibly Gapbody might have that size...although their stuff is typically more functional than cute IMO. But if it's seamless you're looking for, that may be worth a shot. Also, sometimes you can buy sizes online that aren't carried in stores. Maybe VS would have the size/color/style you want through their catalogue or something? But that might just be wishful thinking! Also, you may check out Fredricks (of Hollywood) they carry a pretty good variety of sizes, even some that aren't super common. And who knows...you may find some scandalous wardrobe for your honeymoon while you're at it!

Honestly, all that bra drama is exactly why I did the sewn-in cups thing too. Because finding the perfect bra for a wedding dress just seems to be extra difficult. . .'cause that's what brides need, more stuff to obsess/worry about!

Ann I STG the EXACT same thing happened to me, I was told I was a 36C so I got several bras and they never felt right so I just went and got a couple in a 34C then since I'm looking for a strapless is when they said I'm a 32C, I'm the exact same weight as I have been.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
