I think a restaurant where we can all talk and unwind about the wedding and just have fun would be great. I would rule out a diner---bar might be great but it looks like we are having a pretty large group so we need some space. Koolatta thanks for searching for great places---I wouldn't know where to begin!

I've had my wedding, but would love to join ya'll... I bet Yamille would also be interested. I will let her know about the set up....

I know I am chiming in a little late, but there is a great place

Philip Marie's on Hudson and W11th Street, they do a $16.95 brunch all you can drink and have a room that sits 20 people. Just a thought.

Excited to hear about everyone's planning... I attended the last two NYC BDW Happy Hours and they were great......

Sorry I just caught on that it is Sept 11th, so brunch won't work. There is always Rosa Mexicana by Union Square....

Actually, maybe a bar would work. A lot of places on the east side between 12th street and 34th street have multiple levels and roof decks. I used to work on 26th and Park and there was a place called tonic on 30th street I believe (I know its out of the way from union square) and it had 2 regular floors and a roof deck and every time we would want to organize an after work function we would just call ahead and we would be accommodated for no extra charge, we did this on weekends sometimes too. They also have a full menu and an appetizer menu. I bet we could find something like this in Union Square too. I'll keep a look out and let everyone know if I find something worthwhile.

Any of those sound great -- I'm always a sucker for Mexican though so I'd vote for el cantinero, especially cuz it's close to the PATH & a bunch of subway stops.

& Casey, of course you can come!!!
