Another NYC Happy Hour? For the NY, NJ, CT gals?

I think a restaurant where we can all talk and unwind about the wedding and just have fun would be great. I would rule out a diner---bar might be great but it looks like we are having a pretty large group so we need some space. Koolatta thanks for searching for great places---I wouldn't know where to begin!

I've had my wedding, but would love to join ya'll... I bet Yamille would also be interested. I will let her know about the set up....

I know I am chiming in a little late, but there is a great place

Philip Marie's on Hudson and W11th Street, they do a $16.95 brunch all you can drink and have a room that sits 20 people. Just a thought.

Excited to hear about everyone's planning... I attended the last two NYC BDW Happy Hours and they were great...... smile29.gif

Actually, maybe a bar would work. A lot of places on the east side between 12th street and 34th street have multiple levels and roof decks. I used to work on 26th and Park and there was a place called tonic on 30th street I believe (I know its out of the way from union square) and it had 2 regular floors and a roof deck and every time we would want to organize an after work function we would just call ahead and we would be accommodated for no extra charge, we did this on weekends sometimes too. They also have a full menu and an appetizer menu. I bet we could find something like this in Union Square too. I'll keep a look out and let everyone know if I find something worthwhile.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
