As a fellow hourglass girl, I say go for the fitted one! It gives you a great shape. Mine is a slim a-line so it is sort of in between the two that you have. I am thinking about having it altered to be more mermaidy but I'm 6 months out so who knows!

Either one will be a great choice because the both look nice on you. I vote for the dress#2. Show off those curves.

i think that both dresses look lovely, but IMO your're going to be hot in either. i would think that in a tight dress you might be hotter just because the heat can't get away from your body at all...

I say go with the one you love!!! You look great in both dresses, but you exude confidence in #2!

I love #2. The fitted dress. I to have hips and everything else and was worried about the same thing, but once I got the dress fitted to my size, all was great.

I've got the hip thing too! My dress is a trumpet style. I decided that I wanted to accentuate my curves (I felt uncomfortable and larger in A line dresses). So I prefer the tighter dress. After it's altered it will be perfect!
