That would be fun for the guys to meet too. I would like to bring my hubby if everyone else is bringing their guy with them!

Thats a good idea! Do you know anywhere downtown or in uptown to go? I'm still kinda new to TX so we don't know that many places yet and I live in Frisco which is about 25-30 minutes from all the action lol.

I live in Stephenville which is about an hour and a half away. We are going to get a hotel. I am not sure of anywhere. But I am up for anything... We will look into it. I'm excited! Sorry you can't come Jamie

I love the dinner idea! There is a famous Mexican restaurant in Grapevine called Esparzas, if we want to stick to the Grapevine area. I live downtown Dallas and know all the places here if we go that direction.

If boys are coming, lets make sure BD pics are NOT a subject :) Anything else that if off limits?

I'm excited!

I'm sitting here with a glass of wine and I'm so sad!! LOL Seriously you guys, y'all need to do this exact same thing again. I'd totally be down for all of this!

As for restaurants in downtown/uptown...

Coalvine's is an AWESOME pizza place with great prices (you can share huge pizzas for $11-$16 bucks depending on what you get and they have excellent priced wine)... uhm, if you want Mexican you could always do Mattito's like Rachelle, Lisa and I did at our last meetup; that was fun!

Let me know if y'all need more suggestions. I used to work in Uptown so I know the area well!

OH - I also have a friend who is the events coordinator at Strong's in Uptown. Great atmosphere and great food! Really great margs too! If y'all are planning on bringing the guys you may want to consider a place like this where you can have someone looking out for you.

OK - I demand another date pronto! LOL They'd better give me some good drugs after that surgery to help me forget what I'm missing out on! rofl.gif (Don't listen to me, I'm on my 3rd glass of wine cheesy.gif)

Oh and btw, since you're all Dallas gals here I'll throw out a shameless little self promotion... wink.gif

We will be having an awesome Christmas show at our Art Gallery (Samuel Lynne Galleries - Dallas Art Gallery - 21st Century Art) I believe the first Saturday in December. Please come stop by and have a glass of wine and check out all the wonderful "miniatures" we'll have on display! Who knows - maybe you'll find your next Christmas present! punk.gif

For those of you who would like to come, make sure I know so that we can be "officially" introduced! pinkie.gif

The mexican place sounds awesome. When the date gets closer I will get a count and reserve some tables for us!! I am sure we will get another date in February or something!!

As for off subject- I guess just BD I can't think of anything else. Of course I am already an old married woman so I don't have anything to hide lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
